Maritime incidents have been reported in the northern Red Sea, Suez Canal southern anchorage. Specifically in the vicinity of 29-50N 032-34E, approximately 7 nautical miles south of Port Tawfiq, Egypt, on September 8th and 21st, 2022. The nature of the incidents are reported to be unlawful boarding and theft aboard commercial vessels at anchor. Exercise caution when anchoring in this area.
