Allie Cameron, Director of Governmental and Legislative Affairs
In her role as Director of Governmental and Legislative Affairs, she serves as a member of the senior leadership team, where she is responsible for engaging with the Department on legislative matters and articulating the administration’s goals for the maritime industry.
Her previous roles include serving as a legislative assistant to Representative Mike Ezell (R-MS-04), Chairman of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee, where she managed his Transportation and Infrastructure Committee portfolio, among other responsibilities. Additionally, she served as a legislative correspondent to Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID), where she managed constituent correspondence and policy issues. During her time on Capitol Hill, Allie played a key role in advancing maritime and transportation policy, contributing to the passage of three bills that were signed into law.
Allie holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and will receive her MBA this May from the same institution. Her ability to navigate complex legislative matters makes her a valuable addition to the Maritime Administration’s leadership team, where she will focus on strengthening the U.S. maritime sector.
