Brooke Brzozowske is the Maritime Administration’s Acting Director of the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs. In this role, she serves as the communication advisor to the Maritime Administrator, leads its public affairs team, manages the organizations public engagement portfolio and synchronizes its communication strategy.
Prior to joining MARAD, Brzozowske was the Public Affairs Advisor to the U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff. In this role, she was the personal communication and public engagement advisor to the Air Force’s top leaders. She forecasted, planned, coordinated, and executed all Air Force Chief of Staff Public Affairs engagement opportunities, including public outreach, media engagements, and internal communications. She also advised the leadership staff on the planning and execution of Air Force communication campaigns.
Brzozowske began her federal government service as a Public Affairs Specialist with the U.S. Air Force and has had various assignments throughout the U.S. Air Force at the Pentagon. She has held various positions with increasing responsibility in which she developed and managed media and developed legislative strategies on complex budget and policy initiatives totaling $5 billion annually.
Brzozowske holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Administration and Disaster Planning from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts degree in Administration and Communication Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word. She is also an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaches Federation, and received her Executive Certification in Leadership Coaching through Georgetown University.
